This Saturday was going to be the first #Autoparkrun @Brooklandspark1 but obviously that can’t happen now. To make up for it, I propose that anyone who was going to come along does a 5k for charity at home in the week from Saturday 16 May instead

Because the common link is automotive, through the runners and the location, and because small charities are finding it tough to hold events to raise funds right now, I propose we send a few quid towards @WOMACtweets

I suggest we match our respective 5k runs with a £5 donation (or whatever you can spare.) My rough calculations were that about 20 of us were due to go, but I know more of you are runners and if we can encourage others who couldn’t make it I reckon we could raise a bit more
