Tina and I have recently started rewatching #FatherTed (possibly my 40th watch of it?).

It's sublime, and has not aged in the 20-odd years since I started watching it. We rewatched #theitcrowd recently and a lot of the jokes have become risky in the decade since it aired. 1/many

But #Ted is different. The lunacy endures, and is front and centre. Craggy Island in 2300 will be much like Craggy Island in 1995. I've watched it so many times I'm laughing two minutes before the joke happens, and it's proper belly laughs. 2/many

On this watch, "Grant Unto Him Eternal Rest" has hit me as a favourite so far. The brusque dismissal of Sister Monica, the Boy George / Karma Chameleon bit, "It's a different shark"... genuine tears of laughter.
