it's my parents' anniversary. usually this time we would be traveling. since we're stuck at home, i'm making a thread of some of my favourite places.
Madurai
Allopey|Kochi
Following the theme of beaches and backwaters
(ohh... how i miss beach sand)
Speaking of oceans, here's me at Kanyakumari, the southernmost part of India (I wish I had more pictures)
I don't vibe with people who see forest in a plain view and go "I don't see anything but trees everywhere"... :|
Navamalai (nine hills) is one of my favourite places. I'm jealous my father got to spend his childhood in such a beautiful village.
This is my favourite pic of all time. Look at them... This is so pure...
Navamalai looks peaceful at first... then suddenly a male tusker or a leopard appears out of nowhere and you start counting your last minutes on Earth
One of my recent favourite visits is the Radio Observatory and Cosmic Ray Laboratory at Ooty https://twitter.com/the_cepheid/status/1197767263211769856?s=19

You could stay for an entire month in Ooty and still have more places left to visit. Botanical gradens, lakes, wildlife sanctuaries, varieties of forests, river sources, farms and resorts, small temples...If you leave me I'll make an entire thread about the hill stations alone.
TFW you're in your car and you lift your head up to see the sky and breeze blowing against your face.... I want it.
No multicuisine restaurant could replicate the feel of road side food stalls.
Heck... I even miss the monkeys.
I want someone to overtake me so that I could yell at them for rash driving....
I'm that travel deprived.
Okay, I'll stop here. Hope y'all enjoyed this thread ✌🏾
