New endorsements for Lalisa, so time for another thread explaining what market push & pull is. Push is what a co. does for its product. For YGE, their 'products' are their artists. Push is a full fledged strategy from distribution to PR to--

-- social media content (eg. I am Somi or J solo diaries) and ALL of it requires a LOT of MONEY from the co. So push is the co.'s prerogative. Pull is tougher, harder to manipulate. Pull is public demand, it's whether the audience demands your product or not. It's really rare --

-- for a brand to be able to create pull without any push. Now if I put this specifically in context of the grp.: Ideal situation, ethical situation would be YGE pushing each of the 4 equally and then letting the market decide who has pull & who doesn't. But that's not them. --

YGE's strategy has been to push one member and that push has created pull for her as well. So J is the usual, successful product story where a co. does their best & the market, in this case SoKor, responds as well. But Lalisa's case is really rare --

Because she has done what very very few brands have, without co. push, she has created organic pull. So even though the co. never puts money on her in any way (other than with the grp.), But still the audience wants her, especially outside of SoKor where nationality is not --

-- is not a barrier. So the co. is riding that wave of her pull,and earning from it as much as they can. They still haven't invested anything in her, so no push. Jisoo, again, she had a little push in terms of few acting & MC shows in the beginning, but she managed to create --

-- quite a pull in SoKor to the point that now, even without push from the co., she continues to do well in SoKor BR rankings. I won't talk about R in terms of pull, as it may cause contention. But it's obvious that the co. hasn't done much to push her either. The point being --

-- Lalisa is an earning asset for YGE, they are doing NOTHING to promote her, to PUSH her. It's Lalisa's ability to create PULL that is getting her these jobs, nothing else. People can claim otherwise, but this is the truth and if you can't stand it, that's on you.
