Just a reminder that if you, a Jewish, Israeli, or Palestinian, truly wish for peace and co existence between the two nations, you would identify as anti zionist, (a thread?)
We can never forget Israel and itâs supporters actions, from the nakba (whoâs effects are still in place today, with millions of Palestinians spread around the world as a result), to modern day acts of violence and oppression towards the Palestinians, refusing to acknowledge
Their human rights. Pre Israel, the Jews living in the land were referred to as Palestinian as well (but unfortunately referred to themselves as Israeli after Israelâs creation, selling out their nation). Pre Israel, Palestinians welcomed Jews into their homeland.
Palestinians and Jews have a special connection that dates back to our common ancestors who originated in the holy land, and we wanted nothing less than to co exist with Jews.
Hence, we still do. Our problem isnât, in anyway, with the Jewish people. Itâs with the Israelis, a nation who had, along with a government they support and elect, displaced AND oppressed us.
Palestinians could never co exist with a people who has put them through this much. Coming back to my point, Israel, along with itâs supporters (zionists), want Palestinians wiped off the planet, and the identity forgotten (I get a zionist telling me my identity doesnât exist
Every single day.) Palestinians, however, co existed with, supporter, and welcomed, the Jewish people. One side wanted peace, one side didnât. To justify Israelâs existence and actions would be a spit in the face to the Palestinians who are struggling everyday at the hand of
The racist regime. Anyone who really wants peace would oppose the zionist state, and support the side that had wanted to co exist since the beginning. We need to go back to having a Palestinian state, with the perfect co-existence of Palestinians and Jews, as one nation.
Minus zionists, of course, as it wouldnât make sense for us to live with our oppressors. To call the Palestinian cause âanti-Semiticâ is highly inaccurate. It is: A, anti Semitic in itself, as youâre saying Israel and Jews are one and the same, and B, completely wrong.
Iâd like to add, my resentment to Israel has absolutely nothing to do with it being Jewish. I love Jews and wish nothing but the best for them. My resentment goes far beyond borders, too. I resent Israel because it is causing my people to suffer.
To end this thread, anti zionism is not, and I canât stress this enough, anti semitism, itâs pro semitism. Thereâs only one side that allowed co existence, one side who didnât oppress the other and attempt to wipe them off from existence. You can try to figure out which oneâs
Which by yourself.
