Veterans on Patrol previously got attention when they baselessly claimed that a houseless camp in Arizona was actually a hub for child trafficking.

UPDATE: Meyer gave @HumaneBordersAZ an ultimatum yesterday after draining one of their water tanks, claiming his group would take the tank and put it somewhere Border Patrol could monitor so "the Cartel" can’t use it.
Today police detained Meyer, who also goes by “Lewis Arthur” apparently for draining the tank yesterday.
Police let Meyer go but apparently he’s not allowed back in the area until he sees a judge. More on the legal stuff in the next few tweets

Pima County Sheriff's cited Meyer for trespass. The document he posted has a bunch of personal info, so I won't post it here and risk a ToS violation from Twitter. Citing officer's name is Lovato.

Meyer also responding to my video and confirmed that some volunteers for VOP are QAnon believers. You can read the exchange here.
One more thing. A rant Meyer posted on the VOP page a couple hours ago. I split it in two parts where he pauses. I think there’s a lot to parse but it’s worth a listen if you’ve followed since the top of this thread.
One noteworthy thing is Meyer essentially saying he’s planning to keep doing this until he’s taken back in to court and can prove his Camp of the Saints fantasy in front of a judge.
Someone left this comment on my thread saying VOP should poison the water at these tanks and says I’m a human trafficker if I care about VOP’s potentially deadly actions. Supporters of this kind of vigilantism don’t see people coming across the border as human beings.
