definitive pokemon game tier list

Why Emerald is goated:

-Best combined starter selection in any Pokemon game (tied with Gen4)

-Great pacing, never feels like anything is going too slow, and you know where to go most of the time but don't feel like you immediately need to do it

-By far the best early game Pokemon selection of any game. Gardevoir/Gallade, Ludicolo, Swellow, Breloom, Shiftry, Vigoroth/Slaking, Alakazam, Shedinja, Exploud, and Hariyama

I mean come the fuck on. You can get all of these pokemon before the 2nd Gym and they're all so RAW

-There is enough challenge to make you think, but a lot of it doesn't require crazy grinding, you just need to take different approaches sometimes

-Legendary titans quest is the sickest shit ever

-The music fits so well, everything feels so ambient and amazing. I replayed through Emerald last year and I went diving and I felt like I was whisked away to a different world in REAL LIFE

-Easily the best town design in any Pokemon game. I literally open my file in Emerald to just walk around Pacifidlog town and Fortree city. Lavaridge towns spa that's just there to add to the ambience?? BRO.
