I often find myself confused at how people (maybe even those that attend the same church as me) can arrive at such wildly different opinions on issues of race, caring for the vulnerable, and loving their neighbor’s (rejecting fear)
But at the same time I’m thankful for leaders who are willing to unequivocally take a stand for what is right (our church is a predominantly white suburban church in a red state so I’m guessing this video will be controversial)
As for me, I don’t talk about my faith much on Twitter (doesn’t feel like the right forum) but I feel strongly that following Jesus compels me to live a life that considers others needs above my own and to use the gifts and resources I’ve been given to that end
I’ll just end this thread by saying I probably won’t post much more about religion but my DMs are open if you ever wanted to chat about it or have questions
