(1/2) i noticed in all of the WI FG scenes i’ve been a part of since i was 18 there is this weird veil of pretention and a need for validation in an individuals skill level, like instead of just bettering yourself and having results speak, some would rather act in a way that’s

(2/2) almost like desperate for attention/validation by their peers - i don’t know if this comes from a place of insecurity on their part or what but it makes WI FGC seem lame and inaccessible especially to new people just trying to learn a FG.
