anyways I’m bored so here’s an unsolicited thread of food I had in Guatemala this January

Let’s start off with a picture of a fresh market in my grandmas nbhood

Pepian! Like mole but Guatemalan, a stew

Not necessarily super Guatemalan but a meal of fresh chicharrón, sausage, red cabbage, Cucumbers, tortilla (not picture: chirmol)

Restauran meal of pork rice beans but look at the blue maize fresh tortilla!

Street food: Guatemalan enchiladas (that’s beats!)

Honorable mention: I never took a pic but the churrascos with chirmol or chimichurri I had at the stand that was almost out side my grandmas house every night
