Here’s a thread on ‘full metal alchemist brotherhood’ and why I think it’s amazing.

-it was my first anime so it holds a lot of weight on me.
Keep in mind that this whole thread is based off pure muscle memories, I can’t be bothered to go in full detail about every single important aspect of it
So where should I begin? I think what attracted me so much towards the series at first sight was probably the dialogues between ed and Al in the beginning and how they were trying to bring back their mother. Which didn’t turn out the way they initially wanted.
So after ed and al enlisted themselves into the army which was something that his master didn’t want them to do which later involved them getting kicked in the face and sorts. The relationship between Mae Hughes & the brothers was something I really enjoyed.
But to give the benefit of the doubt ,I think Mae Hughes was a character I really admired because of his love towards his wife and daughter. And his willingness to dig deep into government secrets which he didn’t really have to do was something I liked about his character.
Now moving onto Roy Mustang and Riza Hawkeye, they share a very special bond that isn’t really romantic wise. The way Riza always has to look after the Colonel, even though Mustand acts tough. I think him and Hughes had a very good understanding of each other.
King Bradley:

Let’s just say that I never hated him even after he turned to out to be a homunculus. You could say that he was the perfect human. I always enjoyed his philosophy even until the end when he encountered scar 🥵
Winry rockbell:

-major reason (at least imo) to the growth of Ed. The reason on why I say that is because when she had the chance to see Scar for the first time, she had a nervous breakdown and started to cry to Ed. He then said these hands are for caring, not killing ❤️🥺
The Armstrong family.

-I loved the brother and sister moment in the series, it was truly a gem to watch.

-general Armstrong was a woman I respected because she defended her soldiers and said that every solider she trained meant something special to her.
Scar:

-a very interesting character to say the least, he was killing alchemists left and right because he was following the way of the gods and getting revenge. But he soon understood later on violence don’t always end violence. It just adds more fuel to the fire 🔥
Hohenheim :

-hated by his 1st son for obvious reason but he was trying to save the world 🌎. Which Ed didn’t understand much until later on. But he was an interesting character to me as well even though he made a late appearance in the series. he also really loved his family.
That’s about everything I can write cause I’m drained from whatever I was doing today in all honesty. Hope you enjoyed reading through this thread. But if you haven’t watched it, you definitely watch it 💯
But I’ll probably bookmark this tweet so I can add more to it tomorrow if I find the time cause I have stupid essays to do 😔
