Okay so I got the genuine Magpul Rear MBUS finally. Here it is next to the counterfeit. The genuine bag is a bit more transparent.

You can spot obvious misspelling in the counterfeit on the right. The logo has a “crosshair” in the circle too which is not part of Magpul’s logo.

Opening it up the genuine is more difficult as they use a sturdy staple. While the counterfeit uses easy to remove staples.

The groove on the button is deeper and has some grip to it while the counterfeit has barely of one and zero grip.

Side by side you can spot obvious differences. Black for genuine and brown for counterfeit.

Here’s the other side. You can notice they’re not using a hex nut but a circle nut.

The edges on the genuine is straight and doesn’t have rough edges while the counterfeit has some deviation and has rough edges.

The genuine’s button works fine every time while the counterfeit button doesn’t pop because one side gets hooked on one of the lock wells.

Anyways I already had gotten back my money so nothing was lost and the counterfeiters barely lost anything since these are cheap and easy to forge I’m sure. Magpul still got my business.
