I have not really said my opinions on destiny recently so here is a recap of my thoughts: I love the game and I love the devs and people who put their heart and soul into destiny. Truly I do. Right now though I think is the darkest the game has ever been.

House of wolves era saw a pretty nasty drought and it was pretty much felt through the whole community, but it did not feel like this. The game is just not fun to play right now. We are being told HOW to play the game we love and that feels so wrong.

This recent quest was a big BIG facepalm for me. An iron banner weapon where we have to go out and do the SAME ACTIVITY WE HAVE BEEN DOING ALL SEASON is not the play at all. Not even close. Maybe collective iron banner kills via the weekly event would of been better? Idk...

I have NEVER taken this much time off of playing destiny. It is just not my hobby anymore. There is so way to even MAKE IT my hobby anymore.

I will ALWAYS come back and check out new content, and I look forward to the next big expansion. The story tied to the ships and the darkness is a dream come true. I just hope im not gutted over it being wrapped in a bullshit loop of the same old shit.

It sucks because ya, im kinda upset about where we are now. I had so much hope for the game and I guess I kind of still do. Kind of. I just want to have fun with my friends again in this game.

Next season im not expecting much difference. The main changes are going to come in the fall and beyond, but until then im just going to "check stuff out" with caution. I hope this game makes the comeback it deserves because thats is where I want to be again someday. <3
