A grad student advisor once exclaimed to me “It’s always something with you!” Now I develop services & programs for first-gen & transfer students for @universityofga because #FirstGenClassics means challenges & if u don’t want that, u don’t actually want first-gen.

I’d like to know more about who is offering direct services to first-gen and transfer students in ur department. What are you doing for them? How can we make this a systematic effort? #ClassicsTwitter

Also, I started the hashtag #FirstGenClassics but I’d like to officially amend it to #FirstGenAndClassics or something like that which shows we mean first-gen students who choose to study Classics (help me come up with a better term please!). #ClassicsTwitter
