The fact that the child care isn't front and center of *every single conversation* we are having about how to re-open the economy and when is yet another sign of just how little our elected officials know about issues faced by working families.

Also, I am so tired of women being forced to shoulder superhuman burdens. We were asked to do this before the pandemic, and now, our burden has increased exponentially. Knock it off with the 'superwoman' talk, and start doing something to help.

A sad thought: most working parents are probably so tired and overworked they don't have the luxury of being part of the decision-making process.
