idk this ben discourse is really not sitting right with me. i feel like the concept of abuse is not being taken seriously and is just being thrown around to prove a point which is so hurtful/disrespectful for victims.

as someone who lived with abuse for the majority of my upbringing, this has upset me so much. it feels so belittling and trivialising, as if what i went through is a joke or just "discourse". just a little reapect for the gravity of the term would be nice.

god this is gonna get a bit personal but..... i saw that stella storyline when i was 10 and it hit so close to home. i connected with that and part of the reason i love ben so much now is because he's a survivor. yes, he's messed up and makes mistakes and bad decisions

but he's good at heart, he loves deeply, people love him despite his flaws and he's strong despite what he might think about himself. that gives me a lot of hope, and i'm not saying everyone else has to see that too, but please please don't take the piss.
