This was several days before our peak, and I missed work because of it. I'm fine now.

Looking back now, I feel bad I wasn't there for our patients and my colleagues, to weather this storm. https://twitter.com/drphiliplee1/status/1246743337291452422
To be honest I'd have clearly been no good to anyone had I try to go in, and there was no way I'd risk inflecting others.

But #hospitalspecial was a hard watch, knowing that's what my colleagues was going through and being unable to help.
I said to our junior doctors at the start of this, "We ride together, we die together, bad boys for life", we all laughed.

The hardest part of this was watching them get sick, one after the other. Checking on them everyday, worrying about them.

That broke my heart.
We'll be ready when the next wave comes, and it will.

I just hope we all come through this not totally broken the other side.
