While we’re discussing Rocky, time to give Clubber Lang his flowers. Easily the most ‘Don’t Give a Fck’ villain in the Rocky Universe. From very the beginning of ‘Rocky III’ he was talking crazy. “I live alone. I train alone.” This nygga has no family or friends. NONE?!

THEN!!! Clubber pulled up to Rocky’s statue dedication in a suede coat, called him a paper champ, told Mickey to shut up, challenged him to bout THEN!!! told Rocky’s wife to swing by his crib and get some good dyck. WHO IS THIS MAN?!! PUT SOME RESPECT ON HIS NAME!!

THEN!! At said Bout, Clubber gave Mickey a heart attack. He came down off the top ropes and Killed Mickey!! HE KILLED YO TRAINER IN FRONT OF YOU IN A BOUT HE BAITED YOU INTO TAKING!!

Clubber Lang was reduced to growls & shit talkin in a suede jacket. I’m shocked he never said the words “jive turkey”. Of all the villains in the Rocky universe, he was given the least depth. When we know Rocky movies work best when we know WHY the fighters are fighting.

Rocky Universe is flush w/ beautiful films & both Creed movies somehow operate as a sequel/reboot/spinoff. Theres been rumors of Clubber Lang’s son being the villain in Creed 3’ but if you really wanna be bold. Put that on hold & give us the Clubber Lang origin story he deserves.
