If you have mental health issues, I wish you nothing but the best.

But the last thing to do is find a significant other thinking they’ll fix your problems.

He/she is not your therapist or psychologist, are they there to help you? Yes, but it’s not their job to fix your issues.
One of the hardest things I’ve had to deal with in dating is being with someone who expects you to fix their problems.

You try your hardest, only for them to practically say what you do doesn’t help, most likely people with deep mental health issues can only fix themselves.
Remember, you’re the fix to your problems. Your new boyfriend shouldn’t be thrown into the fire and expected to find all your missing pieces.

Stay single until you fix yourself, at that point, you and your significant other are at a point where you can grow at the same level.
