Clancy Brown starred in a little known science fiction series called Earth 2 in which he desperately DESPERATELY wanted to murder the shit out of an escaped serial killer Tim Curry.

Escaped serial killer Tim Curry became an alien whisperer while on Earth 2.

The premise of Earth 2 was that humanity now lived exclusively on space stations after pollution made Earth uninhabitable. A disease only afflicting children born in space begins to worsen and so several families decide to abandon their station and colonize an Earth-like planet.

Clancy Brown played John Danziger, a father and worn out lower class worker who agrees to be a colonist because he can’t hope to pay off his debt otherwise. Needless to say, his reluctance to be there is a big part of his character.

Tim Curry played Gaal, an escaped killer from a penal station, a master manipulator, and an expert survivalist. The colonists initially want nothing to do with him until they find out he’s learned how to communicate with the indigenous people.

One of those indigenous races are the Terrians, a subterranean people who have a symbiotic connection to the planet and can only communicate through dreams.

The other species are called Grendlers. They’re Gaal’s main allies in the series. They’re untrustworthy, are only interested in communicating via trade deals, and their saliva is a miracle drug.
