Each day is up and down. Today is angry. Angry that small business and restaurants are such low priority. Angry that our city is going to be so bland when the local culture is decimated. Angry that vulturous bigger corporations will come gobble up the left empty leases.

Angry that the rent program is only expected to have 20% of landlords participate. And that even that hasn’t been rolled out yet. Angry there is no moratorium on commercial evictions. Angry that my political representatives who I know support me don’t have the power to help.

Angry that I fought so hard for 10 years to build a business that everyone says they love. And that it is so close to being gone forever. Just like that. Never could have seen this coming #COVID19 #governmentfail #saveyourlocal #savesmallbusiness
