The police surrounded me, asked me to get out of my vehicle, I calmly asked why as they approached my window, asked them to socially distance in line with government regulation. They demanded that I leave my vehicle as I had been detained under Section 23 as I was suspected...

... of dealing drugs and/or in possession of drugs, it’s amazing how you can ascertain this in under 45 seconds... As I exited my vehicle the tall muscular officer attempted to manhandle me despite my calm demeanor and had an aggressive, overzealous approach to me...

This is why I speak to him in the way that I did throughout the video. I will not tolerate disrespect from any police officer & will happily show them how articulate & calm black men can be in these situations...

It took 45 seconds to negatively profile me, stereotype me as a drug dealer and assume that I was a criminal. I was searched along with my vehicle on Walworth Road in full view of many bypassing people, mainly young people and adults queuing up outside Bagel King...
