waterfalls:
try aiming for more natural shapes rather than straight lines, and make the clifftop river bigger than one square. also try making the pond on top natural looking!
cliffs:
try making some of your cliff’s edges round! it will give a more natural look. if you struggle with making your pond look natural try to connect it to an existing river if possible. keep in mind the layout for the furnitures you want on the cliff. don’t oversize it
removing whole levels:
a little tip for removing a big portion of a cliff is to first remove every other line vertically, and then remove every other line horizontally. then you dont have to deal with the rounded edges
inclines:
when placing an incline, try to build the cliff closer to the incline. as demonstrated in the pictures
flowers:
when decorating with flowers, try to mix different types of flowers! here i wanted to have an area with only red flowers. i have first used red lilies and on the second picture i mixed in red mums. the different shades adds variety
another thing!
if you’re out of ideas, try to think about what you would see in a real life park for example. not all flowers has to be on the ground!
