"NSFW" feels weird to say right now. (Random thought time!) Like, a lot of workers are at home, so it's mostly a warning for kids who wouldn't be at work anyway, right? But everybody knows what NSFW means, even detached from what it literally stands for. Is there a word for that?
Related: other signs and symbols that we still use even though they've detached from their origins, like the floppy disk save icon or superheroes wearing their underpants on the outside.
