Our focus this week is on #Nurture, so today we’re sharing 2 important documents from @EducationScot that will be important to consider to build the holistic, nurturing response required for when pupils return to schools.

But first, a reminder of the 6 principles of nurture...
And of the key elements of a nurturing approach...
And the key values that underpin a whole school nurturing approach!
1. Applying Nurture as a Whole School Approach document.

This document offers a toolkit for supporting staff to engage in evidence based self-evaluation, analysis and planning for implementation

2. The Compassionate & Connected Classroom curricular resource.

This is designed to build teacher confidence and support the emotional and mental wellbeing of children in upper primary.

(Cont.) It will be useful too in helping adults to recognise the importance of positive, nurturing relationships in protecting children from the impact of adversity and trauma.

This is obviously so important at this present time.
