As we all know David will be leaving the club when this season ends, which obviously will leave a huge void in the team. Of course we& #39;ve got our young boy Phil Foden, who can perfectly take his place but our midfield would be very limited.
Aouar& #39;s main position is left centre mid (David& #39;s) but he can play pretty much everywhere in midfield, i& #39;ve even seen him play as a left winger. Aouar would not only compete with Foden for a spot in the starting XI, but he would also allow KDB to rest.
Rotation is key in this team and having Aouar in the squad would help massively.
He is a fantastic dribbler and it& #39;s very difficult to take the ball off of him. He is good at recoveries and intercepting passes and has good vision.
From what i& #39;ve seen with Lyon, when playing as an 8, he tends to drop to the left wing to help in attack, something Silva always does.
Houssem has been one of Lyon& #39;s most important players and probably one of the few positives they had this season.

He& #39;s got a contract with Lyon until 2023 but with the Ligue 1 season finished and OL with no European football for next season, it looks likely their stars will look for a move. His current market valuation is €50M.
