2022 Succession Politics in Detail.

Knowing that the deep state in Kenya will not easily accept the Ruto Presidency, the western powers secretly started a mission to make him easily appeal to ordinary citizens.
So as Uhuru and Raila were scheming on how to stop him from getting power, the western powers sold to them the idea of making him the face of opposition. No government functions properly without an effective opposition more so in Africa.
It is worth noting that when Uhuru and Raila formed the BBI initiative, it was meant to create a powerful primi ministeriour position. The position was to be taken by Uhuru. This was thought as the best plan to deny Ruto the whole Central Kenya vote.
Unfortunately, the plan failed as Ruto went direct to the ground and managed to convince a huge chunk of GEMA community that he was still the most viable candidate for 2022 presidential elections.
After the NSIS dicovered that Uhuru was not popular in the ground, they changed tact and watered the BBI report. This is why the Yusuf Haji team came up with the Tanzanian model. In the report, the Prime Minister will be appointed by the President.
He will discharge duties just as Aden Duale does. In short, it is only a change of name and it doesn't require a referendum.

During the launch of the report, Senator Kipchumba Murkomen was booed and heckled when he complained the way Speakers were being selected by MP Junet Mohammed who acted as the master of ceremony alongside Yusuf Haji. Majority of the key speakers were from the Kieleweke team.

To make sure Ruto does not win come 2022, the two have started gobbling together a winning team knowing that Ruto will get majority of the GEMA vote. The two 'brothers' are secretly using state machinery to cripple Ruto's foot soldiers.
This is why people like Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, Elgeyo Marakwet County Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and Nakuru County Senator Susan Kihika are facing hard times in this period. For example Sonko is facing even cases that date as far back as 1998.
Believe it or not, the Ruto foot soldiers and some who wanted to enter the train have totally been scared.
Come 2022, the deep state will make sure whoever they want will be in power. Will Unuru openly back Raila for presidency? Most likely not. However, he will use incimbency to make sure his candidate sails through.
As things stand now, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has an upper hand if he decides to run for office or the candidate he may decide to back.
Raila is by now extremely very close to getting power than he has ever been. The relationship between Jaramogi and Kenyatta family has returned to where it was when Jaramogi refused to take power until Kenyatta was released from Jail.
Raila's wife, Ida is a great friend of Mama Ngina Kenyatta. Ida is a frequent visitor to Ngina's Home in Gatundu. She is seen there not less than three times a week. It is a clear indication that Uhuru will not have any problem getting Raila to presidency.

The people likely to team with Raila come 2022 include Alfred Mutua, Kivutha Kibwana, Hassan Joho, Anne Waiguru, Wycliffe Oparanya, Gideon Moi, Eugene Wamalwa and many others.
If Raila will not run, he and Uhuru are likely to support Gideon Moi or Fred Matiang'i to spoil the party for Ruto. For now they have sworn to slowly but effectively cripple the Ruto 2022 campaign and confine him to being the official leader of opposition.
