Well done PM & press. There’s an Airbnb in our block. Has been empty last few weeks. After Thursday’s headlines it got booked again, and they arrived yesterday. A group of 6 arrived at different times, then spent all night partying. They seem to think it’s all over
Airbnb support got me to DM them on this. But they won’t discuss my complaint unless I have an airbnb account and authenticate with them. I’m a neighbour, not a host or guest. Since when did neighbours of Airbnb apartments need an account???
Update: Airbnb now *say* they have escalated and are dealing with it
Update: no action from Airbnb yet, but discussions with host have resulted in him terminating stay of party crowd, and they’ve left. Now let’s see if Airbnb themselves act on the breaches of terms, inc that the appt is listed 4 times to get round London’s max 90 day rule
