During daylight hours I work with Azure, in the evenings and at night I work with GCP. Every evening when I switch from Azure to the Google Cloud it literally feels like stepping into a jacuzzi after trekking barefoot through a winter forest.
My dev time with Azure is 60% cursing, fighting and frustration, only 40% actually focusing on the product development. My dev time with GCP is close to 100% product development. I really genuinly can't understand why Azure is so popular amongst .NET developers.
Doing anything on Azure means: Reading official docs + StackOverflow isse + closed GitHub issue (where issue hasn't been actually solved yet) + having to look at the code on GitHub and then figure out that the latest release of something has broken or made something unsupported.
Then you spend like 2 days coming up with a "temp" hack to get the something working again. Finally when an official fix is rolled out and you think you can go back to normal then some other 10% are broken and you're back at writing a "temp" hack. Permanent hacks basically.
