ONS figures for date of death are based on deaths registered up to 9 May and may increase as more deaths are registered.

In England, the number of deaths involving #COVID19 in care homes that were registered by 1 May was 7,903, while in Wales the number of deaths was 404 http://ow.ly/clb830qFi6O 
. @CareQualityComm provides numbers of deaths in care homes in England recorded between 10 April and 8 May.

Their numbers show 8,314 deaths involving #COVID19 in this time, and 1,503 of these occurred in the week up to 8 May http://ow.ly/oJKe30qFi8G 
. @care_wales provide the number of deaths in care homes in Wales that occurred between 17 March and 8 May.

Their numbers showed 350 deaths involving #COVID19 in this time, and 55 of these occurred in the week up to 1 May http://ow.ly/xjc930qFi9Z
