alright we all know the hc that moonshadow elves get really sleepy and tired the day of the new moon, BUT all the moonshadow elves would be vulnerable to attack(ik there’s the dance key but let’s be real it’d be hella easy to learn the dance) so here’s what i think they’d do-

i think all moonshadow elves have a secret little room under their houses that are warded with protective enchantments to make sure they’re safe in their vulnerable states.

these rooms are FILLED with blankets, pillows, and generally soft things so the elves can ride out the new moon comfortably with their families and loved ones and not have to worry about being ambushed

ethari is one of the few moonshadow elves who actually like the new moon because it gives him an excuse to cuddle with his husband and adopted daughter(rayla and runaan pretend they don’t like it but they lyin)
