namjoon being the best nations leader: a thread
honestly this unicef video speaks for itself
when taehyung and jin got into an argument before a concert and namjoon saw taehyung close to crying so he went up to him to comfort him
THIS SPEECH that got the whole stadium crying because namjoon told armys to use bts to love themselves because armys also helped bts to love themselves
also this speech where namjoon hoped there was a better word for love in order to express what he was feeling for us armys

when namjoon said that if bts’ existence helped to bring our pain even just a little bit, then the value of their existence is enough
when bts went to isac and won medals but the people skipped jungkook so namjoon gave his own medal to jungkook

when asked if namjoon would prefer solo or stay in bts, he didn’t hesitate to pick bts
namjoon made hobi and yoongi change the sounds of the lyrics in fake love so that people wouldn’t be mistaken
when Ellen did a jump scare to bts and namjoon’s first instinct is to see if the members were alright
when jungkook got so tired and almost fainted during a concert, namjoon got worried and told everyone to take it easy
when taehyung fell during anpanman and namjoon was the first one to help him up and got worried ):
namjoon thanking the members for filling in the hole in which he lacks and thanks them for following his lead
namjoon counting off the members to check if they were all there but saw jungkook was missing
namjoon encouraging taehyung to do the speech
“the members trust me, and i trust them too. so please trust us, trust us a little more.”
2015 namjoon hugged each and every member to thank them for their hard work after an award show
”people say we are really luck and i agree, especially I am. i won’t find people like our members elsewhere. they have never broken a promise and always have trusted me, relied on me, saying i’m the leader. I’m so blessed.” namjoon said in 2017
namjoon talking about how they’ve always been seven, the seven of them together and how they needed to put the number 7 for their album
when bts won their first daesang and namjoon and yoongi talked about how they were dreaming of this moment and how they watched mama back then on the tv

namjoon thanking the members ONCE AGAIN and supports and encourages that they can shine individually
namjoon felt bad he couldn’t help the other members during the trip so that’s why he became obsessed in writing lyrics because he can help with that ): please he’s so caring towards the other members
namjoon as we all know translates for the group and tell the other members it’s okay to answer English questions in korean

namjoon considers the members as his family by now
a former bighit trainee talking about namjoon’s leadership skills even before bts was formed and how exceptional he is
namjoon knows how to wake up each member so we can all assume that he’s the one who wakes up the members the most and sees that as his responsibility
namjoon counting the members to make sure they’re all there and no one is left behind
this interview with namjoon about heroes and how he sees the members as heroes and also how he wants to be a “tanker” to take on all the trolls cr tinyseokjinnie
honestly i respect namjoon so much. he became a group leader at 18 & stood his ground despite all the harsh criticisms from his peers & saying that bts wont make it far/big. despite all those people bringing them down, he believed, both in himself and the other members, & armys.
imagine being 18, you have your own personal problems and other people are constantly bringing you and your group down. some would have given up, but not him. he stayed strong for the members and armys and now look at him, he's all grown and acknowledges his mistakes and flaws.
i know we all call namjoon the best leader and nations leader and he really does deserve that title. he is so good at communicating in between the group and the company. he is so mature and serious about BTS as a group. he loves his members dearly and it shows. with interviews +
and even during performances
he is a really, really good example of leadership, maybe even an epitome of leadership because of how well he handles the group and yet he stays humble, thanking bts for trusting him as their leader, thanking bts for staying with him, thanking bts for relying on him.
the way antis and haters have been so loud... man y'all shouldn't even talk about this man with your filthy mouth. he deserves respect for all he has experienced and went through because he will ALWAYS be stronger and successful than you'll ever be.
