While growing my Twitter account this past month, one of my biggest assets was the ability to write.

As a result, I want to provide some of my peers with some actionable advice that they can use to write better tweets. 🤝

I hope you enjoy it!

ENGAGING TWEETS - THE THREAD! ✍️
1) HEADLINE.

Unless it is paired with an image, the first thing you will see in your Tweets is your Headline.

If they don't find it attractive, relatable, or intriguing, they'll probably just keep scrolling down.

Keep your headline short but attention grabbing!
2) Write about High Engaging Topics.

Things that everyone loves to read about.

You know, topics like Mindset, Money, Relationships, Health, etc...

These are the topics that will get high engagement on your Tweets.
3) Fewer commas. More periods and spacing.

People, hate, to, see, this, it's, boring, and, ineffective.

People.

Love.

To.

See.

This.
4) Most times, less is more.

When writing, try to shorten your sentences as much as possible.

Try to get your point across using as few words as possible.

Make every word count to the max.

Your tweets will start packing a much bigger punch when you do this.
5) Relatability.

We're all suckers for relatability, we love to feel like we can relate.

When writing, remind yourself that you're writing to other people.

As such you should structure your Tweets in a way that people will be like: "Damn, I feel you!".
6) Appeal to Emotions.

One of the best ways to persuade someone is to make them feel things.

As such, try to encourage people, motivate them, make them feel positive emotions.

When they do, they'll be more inclined to engage.
7) Provide simple but valuable solutions.

Talk about common pain points people have in their lives.

As Tweets only have 280 characters, we can only provide simple solutions.

But even simple solutions can help people remind themselves of what they need to do.
8) Write lists, from time to time.

People love lists, I don't know why.

But it's a quick, effective and organized way of getting your point across.

Valuable lists are very likely to get very high engagement.
And that's it folks!
