If you want better content in the FGC, support the good stuff and leave the garbage in the trash where it belongs. Here's a thread on how to ensure quality rises to the top.

Retweet. Like. Comment. You'll boost the signal of every story by simply doing these three things. It helps the algorithms, more people see it, and content that gets people talking is just more enjoyable.

Share everywhere. If you have other social media areas, discords, or forums, drop them there. Get in contact with the people who run the reddits and ask if it's okay to post the links.

Read or watch the content. It's great that you are sharing, but make sure you come through and interact with the piece. Sometimes there will be more likes than actual views on a video, or more retweets than people who've read through on a story.

Donate, but only if you can. If they don't have a form of momentary donation, consider reaching out and seeing what you can do. Content takes work, and doing it for the passion alone isn't always doable. Keep them going, and they'll keep going.

Also, hit them with words of encouragement. Any content creation job is going to be stressful at times, even when the scene is easy to work with!
