We're all in a very tricky place right now, but there are plenty of beer businesses who are adapting quickly and effectively!

Here's some advice we've collected along the way on how best to engage our customers in this new, home-drinking world.🌍
NUMBER1️⃣: Make it easy for customers to buy your beer. Your webshop has just become your best friend, so make sure it's working properly. Also, providing you can supply them safely, don't forget about all of the bottleshops and bars who are still selling beers online.💻
Number2️⃣: Most drinkers get that teams are operating with less people and the odd issue is expected here and there. Make sure you communicate effectively and rectify the issue. Keep an eye on your socials and see it as a great way of building relationships with customers...
..This is all the more important now as the majority of your trade will be direct sales. Think of the way you'd treat a loyal trade customer if an order was slightly wrong and apply this to your home-drinking customers.🏠🍻
NUMBER3️⃣: Maintain relationships with drinkers who might not be able to financially prioritise beer right now. Likelihood is they will be buying beer again in the future and you want them to think of you when they do.
NUMBER4️⃣: It seems obvious, but engage with your following on social media. It's likely that many of your customers are missing the pub and your beer and want to live vicariously through their social feed. Talk to them, be creative and make sure you are still prominent.
NUMBER 5️⃣: Communicate with the beer media. Many are still working and are not only writers but loyal customers of the industry as well, so they have reason to support you.

NUMBER 6️⃣: Show support to your trade customers. Many have shut up shop for the time being while others are open for collection/delivery. Talk to them, see how you can support them. It just might make them think of you when they come to making their first post-COVID order.
