Most of you might not know how Taleemabad came into being. Well, hop into our time machine and let’s take a journey, starting at where it all began

In a tiny little room in Pakistan’s capital, a handful of people wanted to make use of cartoons and games to make learning more exciting and engaging for children. We thought of a city where learning was at the centre of everyday life and that is how Taleemabad came into being!

The workbooks we used when we were in school only reminded us of how mundane schoolwork can become so we decided to 'jazz them up' a bit by using exciting characters and storylines!

We briefly did puppet shows as well!

Eventually, we decided to make a cartoon series that was reminiscent of the ones we used to watch on PTV as kids. And because half the country is supposed to own smartphones in the coming years, we decided to spread the Taleemabad series through an app: http://bit.ly/taleemabad 

The entertaining content has been approved by the Ministry of Education, and even recognised by the Queen of England and the Champion of Education herself - Malala Yousafzai! @malala @MalalaFund
