Only about 10% of nursing homes have had #COVID19 cases in Skåne - compared to 22% of nursing homes in Västra Götaland and 54% in Stockholm region. https://www.skane.se/digitala-rapporter/lagesbild-covid-19-i-skane/inledning/ 5/11

What has Skåne done well? Primary care in Skåne has implemented a "virus express", i.e. mobile healthcare teams that are testing people with presumptive #COVID19 infections in Skåne's nursing homes since end of March. https://www.dn.se/nyheter/sverige/virusexpressen-ett-av-skanes-vapen-mot-covid-19/ 6/11

Since 2003, Skåne has had a unique collaboration with inpatient care, primary care and the municipality, which allows elderly people with multiple conditions to receive care at home instead of having to seek medical care. These structures are now being used for #COVID19. 7/11

Once a nursing home identifies a presumptive #COVID19 patient , it can notify the mobile healthcare team that - no matter where in the region and if private or public - will come and test. What else has gone well in Skåne? Skåne has had winter holidays a week before Stockholm (i.e. 17-23 Feb) and people from Skåne stopped traveling from Copenhagen Airport/Denmark. Finally, the Danish #COVID19 strategy primarily aimed at protecting Denmark from the spread of COVID-19.
