So blue-collar workers are ok to go to work outside of their home but white-collar workers are not ok to do so and its ok for blue-collar workers to mix with people who are not in their house-hold when in work but not when they are out of a work-place setting, is that right?

That doesnt make much sense if so.

And what are blue-collar workers meant to do with their children, if they have any? Im guessing they will all have to be classed as ‘key/essential workers’ in order that the schools look after them so they can go to work and not leave their children unattended? Is that the case?

And we are going to test/quarantine all new arrivals into the country - something we should have done a couple of months ago btw - but not people coming in from France? Is that right?

Even though its feckin obvious to anyone with half a brain that all that this will achieve is loads of ppl by-passing quarantine measures by coming to this country via the French route. Clown-car stuff this, it really is.

You might as well not bother instituting any quarantining measures if you miss out France. Don't bother.

Basically, its ok for blue-collar workers to carry greater risk than white-collar workers bc reasons & we’re going to introduce quarantine measures for all new arrivals but not from France even though all new arrivals will now come via France. Right, got it. Very well thought out

There are ppl on here who if a Labour government led by a Remain supporting politician evinced this level of ineptitude would spend all day on here howling/wailing/gnashing their teeth but who are strangely silent at the moment. How odd.

All the people saying that we need to get back to work: odds-on they mean *other* people. Not themselves or ppl in their family. Its a bit like those who have historically said that we need to go to war with such & such, they dont send their own sons to war, only other ppl’s sons
