what makes me sad is that i want the world to be a better place, i want people to be better. I want to be better and lord knows i have a long way to go. but so many people [the internet] treat everything so black and white, it& #39;s like a game of who is the most righteous.

and because of that conversation around sensitive topics lack nuance. people can& #39;t be complex or have flaws. you might think someone is awful but if you were in their position you might do the same or worse. i& #39;m constantly learning and reconciling with this.

i guess i& #39;m just echoing the argument against cancel culture but idk there& #39;s a difference btwn someone who is genuinely BAD to their core and someone who has good intentions but has a lot to learn. not to bring hp into this but the world isnt split into good people & death eaters
