I made a poll a while back asking whether people preferred Batman stories where he& #39;s alone or when he& #39;s with the Batfam.
I personally can& #39;t decide. There are pros and cons to each and that& #39;s what I& #39;m going to get into in this thread.

The most interesting part about the fam to me are the characters themselves, rather than what they do for Bruce& #39;s story (which I& #39;ll get into)
The Batfam consists of some of my favorite characters in comics. Kate Kane, Cass Cain, Dick Grayson, Barbara Gordon, are all top tier

I much prefer reading their solo outings and seeing them grow individually as opposed to having them in mainline Batman books
That said, the dynamic between all of them is fantastic to read. I do love it when they& #39;re all together fighting an enemy of just having banter

All of their personalities bounce off each other in different and engaging ways and it makes for a super interesting read
They each bring something different to the table and because of that the storytelling options with all of them are basically limitless

However big team-ups isn& #39;t something I need to see all the time
Because of the nature of team books you sometimes sacrifice individual character development/"screentime" and for this reason I love them more in their solo adventures
