If quarantine for arriving air passengers is happening there’s going to have to be robust cross border cooperation given that Dublin Airport serves the whole island.
At the very least timely flow of information from south to north. But what’s the legal underpinning if someone from NI declines to provide information/ gives false info to an official in Dublin?
A lawyer writes: ‘How can someone be prosecuted in NI for failing to comply with an obligation imposed by the Irish authorities without some sort of international treaty?’
