The Love of #MewGulf

Have you ever been in love with the same gender? I have. I have fallen in love w/a girl & it was beautiful. I loved her for almost 3 years. During my time 2002, LGBTQ in our country is not that well known & accepted.
But I was not afraid.

I was not afraid to say it nor to show it. Because I loved her. I was ready to fight for her, but she was not. The thought of not being accepted lingered in our daily conversations. What will they say? How will they see us? Questions that have no bearing in our rel'p yet..

caused so many doubts that she decided to let go.

And this is why I stan the love that I see in #MewGulf. We can never tell if they will declare it publicly. But they NEVER deny anything. We have seen them grow closer to eo each passing months. We have heard them say..

I love you in so many ways. And I admire both of them for being brave.
I love the fact that they pray together and always choose the positive side of every situation. I am also touched at how they encourage other couples by supporting their businesses. They are doing wonders

in this community for not hiding their feelings because their actions speaks more than their words.. because THIS kind of love deserves recognition and acceptance too.

And I want to thank them for living in the "now" but still thinking of the future..

..I stan harder.
