shoutout to the dude on r/legaladvice whose neighbors disappeared and went radio silent after leaving them to housesit and instead of ever filing a missing persons report or anything is only now trying to do literally anything about it a YEAR LATER now that the basement flooded

fuckin. utility bills including internet being paid this WHOLE TIME and the neighbors had PETS (the sitter has taken them in and they're safe and cared for) and my dude doesn't ever contact ANYONE they just KEEP SENDIN' EMAILS????

r/legaladvice isn't complete trash despite being filled with fuckin cops, users are mostly good and well intentioned, and I've learned a lot about landlord-tenant and tree law, the former of which is actually real handy to have. also sometimes you get to watch this shit go down
