Important information If you haven't already done so i strongly recommend that you DO NOT install the updates pictured below.
This is because from my experience one or more is responsible for destroying my computer. Further information in the full thread.

This is my computer immediately following the restart after repeting the process a few times to verify the nightmare was reality.
By that I mean all user preferences deleted, repeated attempts to reset the system to previous configuration failed, and the WiFi connection is dead..

WiFi card in pristine condition like new though several years old as is the spare from a lesser backup old computer.
The attached image is of my desktop preferences. This is how i expect my computer to remain after an update..

I'm still experience bugs that are causing the system to freeze & at one point my security software was set to snooze after downloading the latest update. My webcam control app doesn't work properly.
At about 1pm today (11th May 2020) it will be 11 straight days since this began

I'm not a very happy man.
If Microsoft don't fix the problems with the 1909 release &they try to force it on me again as I'm sure it will I will be looking for financial compensation for the stress and distress caused to me plus any associated cost for new hardware if necessary.

Again all my hardware is in perfect working condition and the majority of the system is only about 5 years old. This is a custom designed and built system.
In this photo is a overview of my PC using a great tool, as you can see it even allows real time view of system temperatures

The clock and other system monitoring tool in with the above system desktop photo is sadly the officially obsolete Yahoo widgets.
It still runs perfectly fine (using compatibility tool) in 1903 however in 1909 release of win 10 the system widget only shows a max of dual core.

If you missed it the 1909 release or 1 or more updates killed the computer.
By that i mean despite the deletion of files and preferences from the boot drive, when trying to reset the system, after reboot it defaults to factory settings. And saud i wasa public user.

I wasn't a public user, i don't know why there's a public user profile on my personal desktop computer. The point is i was signed in as the administrator.
Although I have a good backup even this at one point was corrupted. But thankfully it's now on the mend after 11 days slowly.

So I'm sorry to any and all who may know me or have Direct messaged me, I've not been able to get back to you as yet, not until the desktop computer is restored to perfection.
Likewise I have found a solution to my internet connection issues. I've had to remove the WiFi card...

After removing the WiFi card i found out an old bit of kit that converts ethernet connection to a WiFi network. Which required setting up.
I'd forgotten that my mobile phone can use its data synchronization & charging cable to plug to the pc usb to tether for internet access..

The primary reason for this thread is as a warning to others about the dangerous Microsoft Windows 10 update 1909 & 1903 since they both caused problems that Microsoft Windows 10 refuses to properly fix or roll back system versions to pre 1903 until the faults are found & fixed.
