molly hasn’t worked out her own shit and projects it on anyone who doesn’t align with her expectations

happened when she was dating andrew pre-exclusivity, found out her pops cheated and now she’s become the blocker in issa’s flourishment

part of me thinks deep down, molly does want to see issa win but she’s feeling a way about not being a part of that journey

they went from being inseparable to being insecure about their friendship bc they’re growing individually, which sometimes means apart, esp in your 30s

but molly hasn’t taken the time to mirror talk to herself the way issa regularly checks in on issa

and when someone tries to paint you as a person that makes it hard to look at your reflection, your instinct is to play defense

throw in the fact that hurt people hurt people too

but i’m interested to see where it goes from here now that they’ve had it out

the cold war begins but sometimes friendship breaks (or breakups) force you to remember who you are as an individual like issa mingling at a sip & paint solo deserves a YASSS

but i’m still hopeful for issa and molly.
excited for what this means for their personal growth.

also friendships are like dating. even in the most successful relationships, you’ll love each other even when you don’t like each other. just need a reminder every now and again.
