i'm going to kind of go off and talk about how great my friends are and how much they've taught me and helped me. they're all like the older brothers and sisters that i never had and i'm not as close with them anymore bc they're growing and thriving but i still <3 them so much
my friend @markymethod was working a job he was uninspired in and found a new job that he loved to do which still supports him financially. It took him a while to find a job he thought fit him perfectly and that taught me that you don't need to find your forever job right away.
he also has a part time business that he shares with one of his best friends which is so sick. he gets to have two jobs he loves to do and they made their business from scratch with just references and skill <3
the person he created his business with is someone who has inspired me greatly as well, which is @duhvidd who made a huge jump this past year. he decided to quit his full time job at nasa to become a full time freelance photographer/videographer. even before all that though-
he made videos for fun and reached out to multiple people and worked for his opportunities. That's how he's become the videographer for such big artists like illenium and even thought i wasn't there for the whole journey i'm glad i can be here for some of the big moments <3
the business they share is a photo business btw ( https://www.instagram.com/fjmstudio/ ). anyway the next friend doesn't have a twitter but he's a friend of their's as well. he was moving from job to job as a contract worker. he bought a house in portland for investment but found a job there.
it's a remote job so he can work from home or pretty much anywhere as long as his main place of residence is portland. his family lives there and he had been living here and wanted to be closer to them so he picked up and moved there to be with them and have a job he enjoys.
to pick up and move to a house in a completely different state alone is such a huge step in adult hood and it's just CRAZY to me and it shows a lot of growth. while he's there he's also been working on a youtube channel too as a creative outlet and his style is *chef's kiss*
two of the friends above have gfs who are nurses and they work so hard and just seeing them grind and still have a healthy relationship is so inspiring by itself.
the last one i'll mention, because this thread is getting long, is @Lejonnytran!! he still works on his passion which is dancing and he makes money with it as well as working in a job that he loves to do. He used to work in dance and side hustle learning comp sci and coding.
he then got a full time job to build some income while perfecting his coding and learning to build websites, which has helped him to get the job he has now! he works remote as well so he gets to work in a job he worked so hard to get and also dance and work on passion projects :)
