the friendship of rap and cartoons, illustration, and animation is one of the oldest in rap music, starting from samples of cartoons to rappers starring in their own cartoons, here's some times when rap and cartoons have crossed paths

for this thread, there's gonna be a couple of rules, i'll explain them at the end. so if you have any questions/comments, please read until the end of the thread to see if it's been addressed/answered. with that being said, lets take an examination

1984: in the oldest sampling of a cartoon i could find in rap, grandmaster melle mel and the furious five samples the woody woodpecker show in the new adventures of grandmaster. listen for the laughing sound effect in the song
