You see, when ppl who watch the show say a character's being "ooc", it's not *simply* that they don't like what the char is saying/doing. It's the response to your perception being jarred by behaviour that is not consistent with what has been previously established.
For example, if you establish that a character is motivated by the death of a mother to protect other ppl's mothers, but later have them pass up that opportunity in order to do something else- without first establishing WHY they might not respond as the viewer has-
Seen them respond previously, the viewer has trouble reconciling this new behaviour with what has already been established. Hence, they'd call the behaviour "ooc".
So, in #SupergirlCW, Kara's change from her belief in Lena to treating her like another Lex Luthor is JARRING to the audience that watched her walk through proverbial fire to believe in& defend Lena- who, has ALWAYS proven worthy of that trust.
The rushed way they've gone about creating "drama" between Kara & Lena has been so bad & dragged out for SO LONG that fans are TIRED- not as a viewer at what is unfolding- but at the poor writing & creative choices made for these characters. This is NOT how to TV. #SupergirlCW
