Short story. Maybe a thread here. But for some reason important for me to say. Here goes. My father was a corporal in Germany 1954 to 1956. I was born there. No money. Living off base. Mother& #39;s day. Thanks mom! The commissary kept us fed. Milk for me every morning....
Steaks, fresh vegetables, originally meant for the officers mess, showing up on our flat for both my parents and our German landlords, mama and papa schobert. How did this happen? My dad was a nobody in Army Security Agency How he got there us another beautiful story in itself!https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="⬇️" title="Downwards arrow" aria-label="Emoji: Downwards arrow">
Flash forward. Back in the states. 1960. I said something while my father and I were building a model of a submarine. I was maybe 5. He put it aside and told me to never ever disrespect the little people. The janitors, the lunch ladies. The clerks. Those are the people.....
... That will save your ass. They will take care of you. They see it all. They don& #39;t say much, but they see it all. You treat them with dignity they will cover your ass. Most have forgotten this. Most probably never understood this. I never forgot it....
I listen to the asshat today, Luz, Warren, Obama, Biden. And I see them for what they really are. Nothings. I see the city hall janitors and I see America. From the time I wad 5, and through my life....https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="⬇️" title="Downwards arrow" aria-label="Emoji: Downwards arrow">
And I think @realDonaldTrump does too. The construction workers, the janitors, the electricians and plumbers and grunts, and grocery clerks. It goes on and on. I& #39;m so proud to be an American. I& #39;m so lucky to have been born an American. I love you all. I love us all.
