hampton grease band live/studio rarities thread! in ye olde cassette days, there was only this (not terribly exciting) late period show. can't find it in downloadable form, but here's its listing: https://etreedb.org/lookup_show.php?shows_key=168516
the expanded edition of "music to eat" included a wee bit of atlanta pop '70 & a reallllllllly sweet piece of jamming from emory university, 6/70. the only place i can find it online is a @longrally show, played off my old benefit CDR: https://wfmu.org/playlists/shows/84303
then, a few years ago, the full version of the atlanta pop '70 turned up on youtube.
and there's also a better (though slightly sped-up) mix with an unidentified live fragment from elsewhere at the end:
maybe most exciting, there's now a nearly 40-minute 1968 hampton grease band nyc studio demo (only in one channel, though):
and if you're still with this thread (& this is as far as i go currently), this youtube channel has a bunch of other ultra-rare tapes of howard kelling's post-HGB projects. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCt6_Tf1rYjhIssDy0dhFFlQ/videos?view=0&sort=dd&shelf_id=0
